Recommendation: The five at five

Dogblog, who, btw, was a recent guest at casa de sequiturs, starts the "five at five" tradition. Nice idea; I need to think of something like that to give this little puppet show of mine some structure. I also should focus more on non-political items. Most of the time I've been going with the flow and commenting on the same political and geopolitical subjects addressed on other blogs, but I may not be inclined to do that if Kerry wins -- what would be the point of chronicling your worst nightmares come true? I may also not be so inclined if Bush is re-elected, since, as author Rick Brookhiser cheerfully noted on National Review Online a few months ago, nearly all Presidential second terms have been awful, and I would find it too depressing to detail the decline of the Bush administration.

UPDATE: Bad link above has been fixed.
